Do not delete the member. Deleting a member will NOT unsubscribe them from being billed by Stripe or PayPal.
To manually unsubscribe a member:
- In the Control Panel, click My Members
- From the dropdown menu, select Member Manager
- Search for the member with their email or name
- Select the Subscription tab on their account page
- Under the Action label, click Set as Expired
The member will continue to have access to website content until the end of their billing cycle. After which, they will not be able to log in as a member.
Their payment subscriptions with Stripe and PayPal will immediately expire and they will not be billed again.
You can confirm the expiration status of their account by logging into the payment processor, using their email/ name search for their account and check the status of their subscription.
